BLACKBERRY WHISKEY LEMONADE

OMG, this sounds like the Blackberry Sangria I had at Outback Steakhouse. They used whiskey and moscato wine, topped off with fresh blackberries and a lemon slice. Best thing I ever put in my mouth!!! Could have drank a pitcher by myself, but the buzz from just one was enough to make me downright HAPPY!! I just visit here to get the Recipe.

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE BLACKBERRY SIMPLE SYRUP:

• 12 oz. fresh blackberries
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup water (optional, see recipe notes)

FOR THE BLACKBERRY WHISKEY LEMONADE:

• 1 cup whiskey
• 1 cup lemon juice
• 1 large rosemary sprig
• 3/4 cup blackberry simple syrup (recipe above)
• 1 cup tonic water or sparkling wine (optional, see recipe notes)
